John Hughes

As the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer and Master Trainer of the Triskelion Group of New Mexico (TGoNM), John is responsible for development and execution of all long-term and short-term strategies for each division, driving team initiatives, as well as planning and conducting logistic management.  John has retired several times over the course of his life from following careers:  US Army, Law Enforcement and the Private Security Sector, he has over forty years in the Firearms Security and Intelligence Industry.  John’s experience can be best summarized by the following: Having professional, tactical and special mission experience with the Army’s Special Operations Forces (SOF). Planning, managing and executing the protection of high value targets in non-permissive to permissive environments for the Department of State (DOS) and Department of Defense (DOD) under contract. Collecting, analyzing, reporting and exploiting intelligence gathered from many formats to support mission requirements. Advanced knowledge of Research and Development (R&D), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) and the procurement process for both DOD and Law Enforcement communities. Understanding, implementing and testifying to state and local laws as a police officer. Resourcing, planning, implementing the full gambit of live fire range operations ensuring safety is paramount. Responding to High-Risk calls involving known and unknown IED’s, Simple and Complex Active Shooter situations and conducting Pre-Developmental Site Surveys, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, managing, training, conditioning and implementing K-9 programs for Security and Law Enforcement needs. Instructing at all levels from Clemson University to state local law enforcement.
